Dutton Ranch is marking a new chapter.
Set in Rio Paloma, Texas, the latest Yellowstone spinoff series follows Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) as they “fight to build a future together.”
“They collide with brutal new realities and a ruthless rival ranch that will stop at nothing to protect its empire,” the official logline reads. “In South Texas, blood runs deeper, forgiveness is fleeting, and the cost of survival might just be your soul.”
Paramount+ released the first two episodes of the drama, which also stars Academy Award nominees Annette Bening and Ed Harris, on May 15. But what about the rest of the first season?

Dutton Ranch premiered on May 15, with the first two episodes picking up where the Yellowstone season finale left off.
Though Beth and Rip had originally settled in a remote Montana ranch, an unexpected disaster sends them running to Texas.
“Beth and Rip were always such warriors, and they’re hoping that they may not have to be warriors,” Reilly told PEOPLE. “They’re always going to protect each other. They were protecting a place and a dream of John Dutton’s for five seasons. Now that cycle, that burden is over. It’s dead. And so, who are they together now?”
