Wednesday season 3 has one major advantage over the first two seasons

The creators already know their world

One major advantage Season 3 has is experience. By the time production began, the creative team had already built two seasons of Wednesday, established the central characters and developed the visual identity of Nevermore. That gives the writers more freedom to expand the world without having to spend the entire season explaining who everyone is.

The creators are thinking beyond one mystery

Alfred Gough and Miles Millar have said their Season 3 goal is to make the best season possible while digging deeper into the characters and expanding the world of Nevermore and Wednesday. They have also teased more Addams family members and family secrets.

The cast expansion supports that direction

The returning cast already gives Season 3 a strong foundation, including Jenna Ortega, Emma Myers, Catherine Zeta Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez and Fred Armisen. New additions such as Winona Ryder, Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor and Lena Headey give the story an entirely different group of characters to work with.

That could make the story feel more confident

The first season had to introduce the world and establish Wednesday’s role within it. Season 2 expanded that foundation. Season 3 now has the opportunity to assume viewers already understand the basics and concentrate more heavily on the mysteries and relationships that have developed over time.

Do you think Season 3 has the potential to become the strongest season of Wednesday yet?
