The first official trailer for the final season of All American has dropped, setting the stage for a powerful and emotional farewell to both Beverly and Crenshaw.

Season 8 begins six months after the shocking events of last season, where it was revealed that Cassius—portrayed by Osy Ikhile—is actually Jordan’s cousin. His decision to step in as Beverly’s coach wasn’t as noble as it seemed. Driven by a long-standing ambition to outdo his uncle Billy Baker, Cassius had been quietly working toward breaking every record Billy ever set. Although he experienced a change of heart before the truth surfaced, the revelation left Jordan struggling to process everything.

This final chapter unfolds over the span of just one intense week. Jordan appears to be at a crossroads, contemplating a major career decision, while Cassius faces mounting pressure in his new role. Fan-favorite characters Spencer and Olivia, played by Daniel Ezra and Samantha Logan, return with a new milestone in their lives—they’re expecting twin daughters, and Olivia is seen well into her pregnancy in the trailer.

Meanwhile, the next generation brings its own drama. Amina, played by Alexis Chikaeze, is back in Los Angeles after choosing to attend boarding school, but her return comes with secrets she’s clearly not ready to reveal.

Ahead of the premiere, The CW will air a special retrospective, All American: The Final Season Special, on June 22 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The one-hour event will revisit the series’ most iconic moments, relationships, and milestones, along with exclusive interviews from the cast.

The final season officially kicks off with a two-hour premiere on July 13 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. As the story unfolds, characters like Jordan, Layla, Coop, Cassius, KJ, Khalil, Amina, and Preach will find their ambitions tested like never before—pushing friendships and family bonds to their limits.

Showrunner Nkechi Okoro Carroll described the experience of concluding the series as deeply emotional, calling the cast and crew a family after eight seasons together, and expressing gratitude to fans who have supported the show since its debut in 2018. With nearly 150 episodes, All American has become one of The CW’s most enduring and recognizable dramas.

Produced by Warner Bros. Television and CBS Studios in association with Berlanti Productions, the series is executive produced by Carroll, Greg Berlanti, Jameal Turner, Sarah Schechter, and David Strauss.
