Netflix is continuing to expand the cast of Wednesday Season 3, and several major new additions could play important roles in Wednesday’s next mystery.
The latest casting update includes Lena Headey, Andrew McCarthy and James Lance, who are joining previously announced newcomers including Winona Ryder and Eva Green.
Lena Headey Joins Nevermore

Headey is best known to television audiences for playing Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones.
Her addition gives Season 3 another major television name, but Netflix has not revealed exactly who she will play.
That secrecy is becoming a recurring theme with the new cast.
Rather than immediately revealing whether these characters are allies or enemies, Netflix is keeping their roles under wraps.
More New Faces Are Coming
Headey is only one part of a much larger casting expansion.
Winona Ryder, Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan and Kennedy Moyer were previously announced, while Eva Green has been confirmed as Aunt Ophelia.
Netflix has teased that the new season will bring new students and new teachers to Nevermore.
That could mean some of the new actors will become part of the academy, while others could be connected to the Addams family or the season’s supernatural mysteries.
Eva Green Is the Exception

Unlike most of the newcomers, Eva Green’s character has already been revealed.
She will play Ophelia, Morticia Addams’ long-lost sister.
Her appearance at the end of Season 2 created one of the biggest unresolved mysteries heading into Season 3.
Netflix has also confirmed that the new season will explore more Addams family secrets, making Ophelia particularly important to the story.
Who Can Wednesday Trust?
The growing cast means Wednesday will have more people around her than ever before.
But in Wednesday, more characters usually means more secrets.
Until Netflix reveals the roles of Headey, Ryder and the other newcomers, fans will have to keep guessing which characters are entering Nevermore to help Wednesday — and which ones could make her next investigation even more dangerous.
