Enid Sinclair’s story took a dramatic turn in the Wednesday Season 2 finale, leaving one of the show’s most popular characters in a completely different situation.
After embracing her alpha werewolf identity, Enid is now separated from Wednesday — and her next chapter could become one of the central storylines of Season 3.
Enid Is No Longer the Same Character
Throughout Wednesday, Enid has often provided a bright contrast to Wednesday’s darker personality.
Their friendship became one of the emotional foundations of the series, making Enid’s transformation particularly significant.
By the end of Season 2, however, Enid had embraced a much more powerful version of herself.
Her decision to remain in Canada after the transformation creates an entirely new direction for the character.
Wednesday Has a Reason to Find Her
Wednesday is not exactly known for openly expressing her emotions, but her friendship with Enid has gradually become one of the most important relationships in the series.
That makes Enid’s disappearance particularly important.
The Season 2 finale leaves Wednesday with unfinished business, and finding Enid could become part of the next major storyline.
Instead of simply returning to Nevermore, Wednesday may have to travel beyond the academy to uncover what happened to her friend.
A Different Setting Could Change the Story
Enid’s new location also gives the series an opportunity to introduce a different environment.
Rather than spending the entire season around Nevermore, the story could follow Wednesday as she searches for Enid and investigates the supernatural world beyond the school.
That would allow the series to expand its mythology while giving Emma Myers’ character a storyline independent from her role as Wednesday’s roommate.
The Friendship Could Face Its Biggest Test
Wednesday and Enid have always been opposites.
Wednesday is suspicious, serious and fascinated by darkness, while Enid is much more optimistic and emotionally expressive.
Their differences are exactly what made their friendship work.
Season 3 could test that relationship in a new way if Enid’s transformation changes her priorities or makes it harder for the two friends to reunite.
Enid’s Future Could Be One of Season 3’s Biggest Mysteries
The Season 2 finale did not simply give Enid a new ability.
It potentially created an entirely new storyline.
With Wednesday searching for her and Enid beginning a new chapter as an alpha werewolf, the character could have a much larger role when the series returns.
