Nevermore is about to change
Nevermore Academy is getting a new generation of students and teachers.
Netflix has confirmed that season 3 will introduce new faces to the school, while several major actors have joined the cast in roles that remain largely under wraps.
For Wednesday Addams, that could mean one thing:
More people to investigate.
A school full of secrets
Nevermore has never been an ordinary school.
Behind its gothic halls are supernatural students, strange teachers and secrets that often turn into dangerous mysteries.
Wednesday already knows that appearances can be misleading.
The arrival of new students could therefore give her an entirely new group of potential allies — and potential suspects.
The new faces behind the mystery
Season 3 is adding an impressive collection of actors, including Winona Ryder, Lena Headey, Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan and Kennedy Moyer.
Lena Headey’s role is particularly mysterious. Netflix has confirmed her involvement but has not revealed exactly who she will play.
Andrew McCarthy and James Lance are also joining the season with their characters being kept secret.
That means fans don’t yet know which newcomers will become important to Wednesday’s story.
Could Enid have new competition?
Wednesday’s friendship with Enid became one of the defining relationships of the series.
With new students arriving at Nevermore, that dynamic could change.
New friendships could develop.
New rivalries could emerge.
And Wednesday may find herself dealing with people who challenge the relationships she has already built.
The creators have also teased that season 3 will introduce new students and teachers while expanding the world of Nevermore.
Everyone has something to hide
That’s what makes the new season so interesting.
Wednesday doesn’t trust easily, and a school filled with unfamiliar faces gives her plenty of reasons to be suspicious.
One new student could become a friend.
Another could become an enemy.
And someone else could be hiding the answer to the mystery Wednesday is trying to solve.
Who will be the first new face Wednesday refuses to trust?
