With a snap-snap of Thing’s fingers, Netflix‘s mega-hit fantasy series Wednesday has wrapped production on Season 3. The streaming juggernaut also shared a first-look image of star Jenna Ortega as the titular character.
‘Wednesday’ Season 3 Cast and Crew
Wednesday Season 3 is going to be a star-studded affair, packed with more of macabre auteur Tim Burton’s regular collaborators. In addition to Ortega as Wednesday Addams, the rest of the returning main cast includes Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams, Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams, Emma Myers as Enid Sinclair, Hunter Doohan as Tyler Galpin, Joy Sunday as Bianca Barclay, Moosa Mostafa as Eugene Ottinger, George Farmer as Ajax Petropolus, Billie Piper as Isadora Capri, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo as Sheriff Ritchie Santiago, Victor Dorobantu as Thing, Evie Templeton as Agnes DeMille, Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester, and Joanna Lumley as Grandmama Hester Frump.
Eva Green will join the dark festivities as Aunt Ophelia, Morticia’s sister. Rounding out the Season 3 roster are newcomers Lena Headey, Andrew McCarthy, James Lance, Winona Ryder, Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan, and Kennedy Moyer.
How Did ‘Wednesday’ Season 2 End?
As for the Season 3 plot, creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar are keeping their lips sealed. We know Burton is returning as the series director, though. Season 2 concluded on quite the cliffhanger, with Enid becoming a werewolf permanently. Thus, Wednesday, Fester, and Thing embarked on a road trip to track down an on-the-lam Enid.
This showhas proven to be a boon for Netflix. Season 1 is the most-watched No. 1 English series of all time, while Season 2 sits at No. 6 on that same Top 10 Most Popular Shows list.
Expect things (and Thing) to get creepy and kooky when Wednesday Season 3 premieres sometime in 2027 on Netflix.
